Brighten up your border or containers with this colourful mix of semi-double flowering Cosmos in shades of yellow, red, gold and orange.

Pinch out the growing tips during the vegetative stage and you\’ll double the already prolific number of flowers that will appear.

Flowers are edible with a sweet nectar flavour, try them in salads as garnishes or float in summer cocktails.

Bees and other pollinators also enjoy their nectar.

Plants perform best in humus rich well drained soil in a sunny position but avoid overfeeding them as this might discourage flowering.
